Otherwise known as prefolds or old-fashioned diapers. These need a cover to keep wetness in. When you receive your new diapers, the bleached (bright white) prefolds need to be washed and dried three times for maximum absorbancy, but can be used after the first wash. The unbleached prefolds (natural tan color) need to be washed in VERY hot water (turn up your water heater, but please remember to turn it back down for safety reasons) and dried about 3-5 times to remove the natural oils and waxes before they become absorbant. Well worth the extra effort! After the intial "break-in" of the diapers, the washing routine is the same. When comparing our prices to other stores remember we charge only $5.95 flat rate. |
